Mods? What Mods?
Your main ports of call will be Jibrille and Kai! They'll field questions, sort teams, etc. Re will deal with locations/bestiary, and NPCs. We'd like to emphasise that there is no need to commit to anything; this is a DR, and if momentum dies out in between games, that is fine. The mods are really only here to deal with the odd nuances.

How long will my character be a hobo
Until, either:
A) There's a game.
B) Jibs gets around to it.

Character Limits
There are none. Doubles are allowed, previous game history is allowed, etc. For instructions on how to sign your characters in and begin play, please see this entry.

Drops
They don't exist! You can permanently kill your characters if you really want to, but otherwise, keep in mind that characters are not necessarily in this world all the time! They're only stuck here while you want them to be.

NPC Creation
Is always open! You don't even have to apply; just fill out the information here.

How accessible your NPC is to the player characters is up to you! Some people may prefer a more hands-on approach to interaction, others may prefer more distance. Either way, the only thing to keep in mind is that they should be vague about the world/setting. SPOILERS: THERE IS NO BACKSTORY.

GAMES
Scheduling
We're working on setting up a calendar to make this easier, but for now, please rely upon this entry. Please try to limit games to one per week, or two, at the absolute most!

Sign-ups
Attendance will be capped according to the preferences of the game runner. Considering the size of the teams, players should only sign up one character unless or until given the go-ahead to sign up two. Game runners, it is at your digression as to how far in advance you open sign-ups.

Theme & Tone
This is a murdercave. Sabra-style trauma is a thing that will happen, and it may be terribad. However! This will be balanced with lighter games! Try not to have too many of the same type in a row; if we notice that this is happening, we'll probably poke you to reschedule.

Can I rehash Sabra/Aather/whatever games
Yes! Just keep the above in mind. Similarly, you're welcome to test games that you'd like to run in Aather in the future.

What about non-game events
There is no underlying or overlying storyline, though there are themes to be played with. But, yes: if you'd like to run an event that isn't a game, you may. Theme & tone disclaims apply.

GENERAL.
Team Uniforms
This! Pants, waistcoat, hat, and shoes are team colored; shirts and socks are cream; scarves are the color of their Sabra, Aather(, Arbas, or ECenter) team! If they didn't have a team, they won't have a scarf—though they can, if you sort them yourself.

Quests/Missions
NPCs may give the characters quests! However, they should be difficult! Things are expensive, and there is no luxury; think of this as a survival camping trip. Weapons and materia can be earned, of course, but they'll be bigger quests.

To make things a little clearer! The weapons your judgesonae can offer are limited; they won't have stat buffs, and if they're more complicated than a good short sword or spear, they're only just going to be of serviceable quality. You're also almost guaranteed to regret questing for them, because the monsters you're sent after will maul you. For example, a shounen hero can expect to lose 75%-100% of his HP against a raptor - if they try to go it alone, they're almost certainly going to die.

MORE UPDATES, for Judgesonae players:
1) Food quests should be declined.
2) No more than one bullet-firing weapon per team. Ammo will be extremely limited.

Flora & Fauna
NPC your own fauna to your heart's content! Raptors and wolves are vicious little bastards, and raptors especially count as midbosses. If you really want to use an NPC journal for these purposes, dinnertime is available: the password is dangerbear1.

Please don't make up your own fauna.

There isn't any detailed information on flora, but! You can assume basic medicinal herbs with disinfectant/stomach settling/whatever qualities, and there might even be a kind of berry that acts as a sleeping aid!
